60 Seconds

is a web-based show that's all about you... well at least for 60 seconds.

The show consists of minute long episodes that highlight creative individuals in the Memphis area "doing their thing." Musicians, poets, artists, comedians, dancers, and people with unique talents are welcome to give us their 60 Seconds!

Started in 2009, the show is a project of Live From Memphis and has grown to feature over 100 Memphis artists and performers! From singer songwriters, musicians, rappers, dancers, comedians, hula hoopers and more, everyone gets the spotlight.

“60 Seconds” gives local performers the opportunity to be filmed professionally and distributed across the Live From Memphis Network, WYPL (as part of LFMTV), Youtube and other social networks for FREE. The “60 Seconds” playlist can also be found on many local, national, and international websites. The show has been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people since the first episode, featuring Teflon Don, debuted in April of 2009 on livefrommemphis.com.

No covers! No copyrighted beats, background music, etc.
Also, this is a performance, so if you have some non-performance like talents such as art or film, find a creative way to show us your talent!

60 Seconds is a great avenue for interns who are interested in learning more about Memphis music, film, and art, and supporting the community.  Video production, building relationships with artists, and web site administration are a few of the skills that you can build with this project.  Your opportunity awaits!
